When we brought Fluffy, our AKC registered miniature poodle, home for the first time, our whole family was tickled and excited. She was so beautiful and sweet tempered. She followed us around the house and played and napped. It had been more than 5 years since the death of our last dog, Bitsy, and having Fluffy around was a breath of fresh air. When our attempts to house train Fluffy and teach her tricks blew up in our faces, my husband, Bob, and I decided it was time to investigate what was available in the Sarasota area in the way of professional dog training services. We were looking for the right place that incorporated a strong disciplinary structure and positive reinforcement. We also liked the special services available for Fluffy through K9 Korral Obedience Center. Fluffy had a great deal of nervous energy as a puppy, which was something else we had hoped would be addressed during her classes.
The professionals through K9 Korral worked closely with Fluffy and helped her work through many of her issues. She is 100 percent house trained and is a much more confident and obedient dog. We put her through Puppy Preschool, Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy AKC S.T.A.R, as well as Pet K9 Obedience classes. She also benefits from the center’s hands-on services, such as Reiki for relaxation, aromatherapy and so much more. I cannot say enough about the positive experiences we have had through the K9 Korral Obedience Center. Bob and I have always been so impressed with the personal attention we have received as pet owners. The staff members have always been willing and able to answer any and all questions that we have had. Furthermore, they have provided us with specific Web sites to research issues further, after they have provided the answer. Going above and beyond in providing the best possible customer service is standard through K9 Korral.
It is as if Fluffy knows when she is going and she gets very happy when she arrives. She has socialized with many other dogs and enjoys hugs and attention from the professionals who deliver the training and care for the pets that attend classes. The common-sense techniques available during training through K9 Korral Obedience Center make me feel comfortable, as a pet owner, that Fluffy will get adequate yet gentle care. Bob and I are so pleased with the results of her comprehensive training, that we wish we could send our 21-year-old son, Andrew, there for behavior modification. If only life were that simple. Who knows, maybe Fluffy can train Andrew.
